Get to Know Our Team

Fizio Sende was launched in 2026 with the aim of supporting the health of people living in Szentendre and the surrounding area, and helping them regain the joy of pain-free, free movement — both for young and older patients. We focus on the treatment and relief of personal, targeted musculoskeletal complaints, supporting regeneration, and preventing the recurrence of illnesses or musculoskeletal problems. Our colleagues are continuously training themselves based on the latest health science experience to provide our patients with the best possible care.

Rottenbacher Anna

My name is Anna Rottenbacher. I graduated from Semmelweis University, Faculty of Health Sciences, as a physiotherapist in 2015. During my university years and for the following year, I worked as a masseuse, then in spring 2016 I had the opportunity to begin working as a physiotherapist at the Danube Bend Rehabilitation Department of DBC – Szent Imre University Teaching Hospital. Shortly after, I was transferred to the hospital’s Neuro-Stroke Rehabilitation Department, where I mainly worked with patients recovering from stroke. Over the past years, during the small amount of free time I had while raising two children, I continued to develop professionally. During this period, I completed courses in kinesio taping, FDM, vacuum therapy, McKenzie MDT “A”, and manual therapy. I currently work in the outpatient care department of the Rét Health Centre. Balázs and I have known each other for about one and a half years, first as fellow parents of a young boy, and then our shared professional path soon became clear. I was very happy when it turned out that we were planning to open a practice in the local area, where we could help our patients in a complex way. Rehabilitation often requires the work of a multidisciplinary team, and I feel that we are now working in a team where we can provide joint support to people with musculoskeletal complaints.

I graduated as a massage therapist and sports massage therapist in full-time education in 2014. After completing my studies, I started working at the Physiotherapy Department of the National Institute of Rheumatology and Physiotherapy, where I gained six years of professional experience in an adult and paediatric rheumatology department, hydrotherapy, and teaching massage students. I currently work at the Rheumatology and Immunology Clinic of Semmelweis University. I believe that with a purposefully planned, personalised, and above all loving approach, we can create the foundations needed to achieve lasting and long-term results. That is why I created Fizio Sende Physiotherapy on my own and opened it, where musculoskeletal and physiotherapy treatments as well as personalised dietary counselling are available. During my treatments, I consider it important that we work together as partners and jointly find the most effective solution for the patient’s current condition, whether that requires a single session or multiple treatments. I complement manual techniques, when necessary, with various tools: cupping, SMR, IASTM, or dry needling. In order to keep my professional knowledge up to date, I continuously attend further training courses. Courses and training: 2014 Kinesio Tape Basic + Advanced, Oriolus Med 2018 Fascia Technics course in medical rehabilitation – SMR course, Fit College 2019 TRX Therapy Instructor 2019 Cupping theory and practice, Oriolus Med 2020 SMR in sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, MFMA 2023 EMMT – instrument-assisted myofascial mobilization therapy 2023 Fascial Distortion Model 1, Oriolus Med 2024 Fascial Distortion Model 2, Oriolus Med 2024 Fascial Distortion Model 3, Oriolus Med 2024 Sport-FDM, Oriolus Med 2024 Hegkezelés, Oriolus Med 2024 Myofascial techniques – Trigger point and myofascial techniques, FMFA 2024 Functional Movement Analysis 2025 Bene Máté – Neuromass 2025 Cranio FDM

Until now, I have dedicated my studies to the application of soft laser therapy. I worked for 33 years at a national musculoskeletal institute, where I treated both inpatient and outpatient cases. At this institute, I had the opportunity to complete my studies and successfully pass the exam in laser therapy at “Räkellenes Lézer Alapítvány” in 1992. Conferences: 2020 SZEGED Physiotherapy Congress – speaker, independent research: “The Effect of PEMTT on Low Back Pain”. I had the opportunity, thanks to my chief physician, to obtain a device from Forovos, which made it possible to apply focused therapeutic ultrasound, previously used in Hungary for oncology purposes, as a physiotherapy tool for musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatic diseases, tennis elbow, Achilles tendon problems, worn joint conditions, and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as for the treatment of various types of trigger point syndrome. Laser therapy is a treatment method that can be used even in cases where electrotherapy is contraindicated or not recommended. The treatment does not cause discomfort and allows targeted treatment of painful areas. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to support many patients with therapeutic laser treatment over the years.
